How to find
the Pelion Villa
Our Pelion holiday villas are located in the beautiful coastal town of Alykes ( also known as Neas Pagases ), which is approximately 5km south of the city of Volos.
It is very easy to reach Volos and Pelion. If you are travelling from abroad, you can take a flight to either the Athens International Airport or the Thessaloniki Airport and then continue by road. There is also a local airport, the Volos Nea Anhialos airport, which caters for a small number of charter flights from locations in Europe. Additionally, you could also take a flight to the nearby island of Skiathos, which is part of the country of Magnesia, and from there take a ferry boat to Volos.
If you are travelling to Pelion from Athens or the south of Greece, then you will simply need to take the national road and head northwards. The travelling time from Athens is approximately 3-4 hours. There are road signs marking where to turn off the national road for Volos and Nea Anhialos. Follow this road and you will pass through Nea Anhialos and Kritharia. Shortly after you will reach Alykes.
If you are travelling to Pelion from Thessaloniki or the north of Greece, you again will take the national road and head towards the south. The travelling time from Thessaloniki is approximately 90 minutes. There are road signs marking where you will need to turn off the national road and towards Volos. From Volos you will follow the signs and head out of the city towards Anhialos. Alykes is situated just 5km from Volos.
